I’m a well rounded digital marketer with diverse experience in marketing leadership, sales and SEO content writing. My career has taken me from a software startup in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio to a nine-year stretch in higher education publishing throughout various parts of the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve also proudly spent time in the bicycle industry in both retail and corporate environments. My positions have varied from sales to marketing and from purchasing to project management.

I recently earned a certificate in Digital Marketing through UC Berkeley Extension to advance my skills in marketing strategy, digital advertising, web design & site analytics, reporting and visualization. I’ve also had experience with marketing planning, brand awareness, lead generation, content marketing, Google Keyword Planner, email marketing, CRM and search & display advertising. I have a customer-centric focus on generating content to help drive sales results that derives from my experience in direct customer interaction.

I’ve collaborated in cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and manage campaigns.
As a marketing manager, I successfully launched a new digital product into an analog market built around direct-to-consumer webinars. I’m excited to contribute my diverse experience and newly acquired digital competencies to any organization.

Beyond Meat by The Digital Distancers

  • This group project created a digital marketing plan for Beyond Meat, a meat alternative food product. We focused on paid search advertising, display advertising, email marketing & social media marketing channels.  
  • The project demonstrated how to increase web traffic, generate leads and grow sales for the Beyond Meat brand. I personally worked on audience research, the customer personas and the display advertising strategy sections.

Marine Plastic Education Institute

  • This group project planned, built, optimized and analyzed a website for a fictional non-profit organization. We performed business analysis, User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) design, SEO best practices, and A/B testing before presenting the website to an audience.
  • We demonstrated how a well-crafted website can help an organization to increase its online presence and facilitate conversions. In addition to acting as the overall project manager, I also developed the introductory business overview section.

Club Tortuga: The Trader Joe’s Loyalty Program

  • This group project devised a rewards program for a large scale, real-world brick-and-mortar business built on digital marketing best practices and creativity. 
  • The rewards program created incentives for repeat customers and created online brand evangelism for the Trader Joe’s brand. In addition to acting as the overall project manager, I developed the introductory business overview section and the paid search advertising channel.
